Continuation of the NKPA assault across the Kum River further east from Kongju.

The NKPA outflank on the west and attack the 52nd FAB.

Historically the 19th Regiment command put a pickup force to break the road block to the south near the 52nd FAB position. This appears as a motorised unit in Palsan ni on turn 6 and moves south to break the roadblock. However, the game might not follow the original course and so its up to the player how they apply this unit.

Similarly, after news is heard of the NKPA forces being on the road south are heard of by higher command officers, a mini rescue force is put together in Taejon that appears on the southern part of the map, on the road to Taejon, on turn 6. This comprises of the 2 tanks (armoured company) and 4 anti-aircraft veicles (air-defence company). Historically when the mini rescue force arrives, all the anti-aircraft vehicles are destroyed with 90% casulties and the tanks run out of ammunition and leave. Again, the scenario might not run and it did historically and it is up to the player to determine how the mini rescue force is applied.

Unfortunatly the map is a bit short, and ideally there should be at least 5-10 more hexes south to allow for gameplay to the south. At this stage it will have to do. The 11 and 13 FAB should themselves be at least 2-3 hexs further south. However, it should suffice.
