This was a short war and is also known as the 100 hour war.
It was started after Honduras began expelling farmers that had come from El Salvador either legally or illegally.
It started on 14 July 1969 and a cease fire was agreed on 18 July 1969 which took effetc on 20 July 1969.
The El Salvadorian units readily pushed the Honduran units back and got to about 70 miles of the Honduran capital Tegucigalpa which I would say was 2 hexs on this map although I have not measeured the scales.
There were 3 main elements. The Northern, central and Southern. the central units were really there to stop the Hondurans from invading el Salvador inthe central regions. The Northern and Southern units followed the main roads from El Salvador into Honduras.
The initial El Salvadorian airstrikes utilised commercial passenger aircraft that had bombs strapped to the sides that were dropped. (air units yet to be done)
Not clear on the geography. Seems to be very mountainous but also covered in jungle and so not sure how to reflect that so I have added a bit of both. The Mountains should be considered on the junglely side and the jungles on the mountainous side.
